Education for Children of Brick Kiln Workers

Breaking the cycle of poverty by empowering the next generation with free quality education and basic school resources.

Project Detail

A dedicated community development project aimed at establishing functional schools directly within or near brick kiln facilities to ensure no child is left behind.

Free School Operations
Our Goal: Full Enrollment & Daily Nutritional Support 97%

Challenge: Children from brick kiln worker families often had limited educational opportunities. Due to extreme financial hardships, they were frequently pushed into early labor instead of attending school.

Our Response: SHED Welfare Society established a completely free school and provided full school supplies, organized syllabuses, sports activities, and consistent food support to alleviate burdens on families.

"Education is the ultimate tool for liberation. By placing books in these children's hands, we open doors to a completely new future."
Saima Robin
SHED Welfare Chairperson

Impact: Children were strongly encouraged to continue their education, building long-term opportunities for the future and steering away from generational bonded labor
